Starium Development Inc is hiring 4 General Construction Labourer positions in Powell River, BC.

Job Description:
-Title: General Construction Labourer
-NOC: 75110
-Position(s) Available: 4
-Work Location(s): Powell River, BC V8A 1W6 & varied construction sites
-Weekly Hours: 40
-Compensation: $23 per hour

Job Requirements:
-No degree, certificate, or diploma is required
-Relevant experience is an asset. Will train.
-Basic English communication skill is required.

Job Responsibilities:
-Load and unload construction and renovation materials, and move related materials to assigned workplace
-Assist in erecting scaffolding and ladders
-Prepare and assist in construction and renovation materials including concrete, paints, etc.
-Follow the supervisor’s guidelines and safety procedures
-Operate tools and equipment following licensees’ instructions and operational manuals
-Provide necessary assistance to painters, constructors, framers, electricians, plumbers, etc.
-Track and place orders with partnered suppliers to maintain the inventory of necessary materials
-Clean up worksites and transport debris and trash to the landfill sites
-Pack and upload all materials, tools, and machines to trucks upon project completion
-Perform all other necessary activities per request
