Responsibilities:
1. Produce drawing sets and complete documentation packages.
2. Write technical reports
3. Be able to operate CAD and drafting workstations
4. Create and ready design sketches.
5. Create and prepare engineering designs and drawings using conceptual frameworks, rough sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data.
6. To ensure that design drawings adhere to specifications and design data, check and verify them.
7. Provide construction specifications, cost estimates, and material lists.
overseeing and instructing other drafters, technicians, and technologists.
8. Prepare contracts and tender documents
9. Utilise computer software to create building information models (BIM) that provide digital representations of the structural and functional elements of buildings and other engineering projects.
