Good Air is a dealer for Mitsubishi Electric, the top heat pump brand in the industry. For over 15 years, we’ve designed and installed custom heating, ventilation and air conditioning solutions for both residential and commercial customers across HRM. Good Air is one of the first Venmar AVS installers in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Good Air is more than just a ventilation company; it’s a way of doing business. Our goal is to consistently provide our customers with products and services that are designed to meet our customers’ specific needs. We are now looking for 3 Sheet Metal Polisher and buffer worker to join the team and preference will be given to candidates with previous related work experiences.

Tasks:
Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products
Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions
Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators or other metal workers
Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials
Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
Clean machines and immediate work areas
Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
Load and unload vehicle
Polish metal products to mirror finish
Read and interpret work orders

Required languages: English or French

Education level: Minimum High School

Required skills: Previous work experiences on Sheet Metal fabrication as an asset
