Our team of employees gives a broad variety of installation and renovation services, ranging from painting including residential interior and exterior & commercial, basement renovation, bathroom renovation, kitchen cabinetry, door, and window installation.

Position: Drywall Installer (NOC 73102)

Job Responsibilities:

• measure and assess the space where the drywall will be installed.
• cut drywall sheets to the required sizes using tools such as utility knives and saws.
• attach the drywall sheets to the walls or ceilings using screws, nails, or adhesive. They ensure that the sheets are properly aligned and leveled to create a smooth surface.
• apply joint compound (mud) and tape to cover and reinforce the seams, creating a seamless appearance.
• some projects may require applying texture to the drywall surface.
• Drywall installers are responsible for cleaning up the work area, removing any debris, excess materials, and tools. They ensure the area is left in a clean and safe condition.
• Drywall installers need to follow safety protocols to minimize the risk of accidents. This includes using appropriate personal protective equipment, working safely with tools, and being aware of potential hazards on the job site.
• responsible for ensuring the quality of their work. They need to inspect their installations to make sure they meet industry standards and the specifications of the project.
• May estimate material and labour costs.
• Clearing the work surface from dust, debris, and obstructions.
• Ensuring that the flooring materials are well-positioned, secure, and clean.
• Meeting with clients and inspecting sites to determine the most appropriate solutions.
Employment Requirements:
• Secondary school certification is required
• 7 Months to 1 year of Experience will be required
• Ability to work in fast-paced physically demanding and tight deadlines environment
• Team player and highly adaptive to work in culturally diverse environment.
• Must have proficiency in English language both written and verbal.
• This job may require handling of weights up to 50lbs.
