Job Description

Book Kyung Ban Jeoun Restaurant is located 1638 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC V6G 1C7. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Chef. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.

Position: Chef
Wage: CAD$24.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30- 40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay

Job Duties:
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food;
• Prepare and cook various Chinese food items on the menu and other specialty dishes;
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs;
• Create new recipes;
• Supervise activities of cooks and staff;
• Monitor and requisition food and kitchen supplies.

Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial food preparation;
• Chinese cooking experience an asset;
• Cook certificate an asset.
