Position: Dump Truck Driver (NOC: 73300)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time (40 hours to 60 hours per week)

Work Location: Candidates will be travelling within BC including the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley and Merritt

Wage Rate: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour (based on exp. and as per the Union’s collective bargaining agreement)

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Education: High School

Experience: Experience an asset, Will train

Languages: Basic English is required

Credentials: Driver’s Licence (Class 1 or A) and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement

Security and safety: Driving Record check (abstract)

Job Duties:
• Operate and drive trucks to transport and dump materials.
• Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Pull levers or turn crank to tilt body and dump contents.
• Perform pre trip, en-route and post trip inspections.
• Report any kind of details or accidents to dispatch.
