Janitor

Job Title: Janitor (NOC 65312)

Location: 249 Parker Road Scoudouc, NB E4P 3P8
Wage: $16.50/hr 36 to 40 hours per week
Vacancy: 2 vacancies

Job Requirements:

Languages
• English or French

Education
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience
• Experience is an asset but no required work experience is needed.

Duties:
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, doors and stairs.
• Operate industrial vaccum cleaners to remove scraps, dirty, heavy debris and other refuse
• Gather and empty trash
• Service, clean and supply restrooms
• Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
• Move heavy furniture, equipment or supplies
• Other duties as requested by management

Security and Safety:
• Drug test, criminal record check

Transportation/Travel Information
• Own transportation, public transportation is not available

Work Conditions
• handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling

Equipment
• Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Carpet cleaning machine, Power lawn mowers, Security system, Small tractors (lawn/snow removal attachments), Snowblower
