Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
Position Available: 1
Wage: $20.15 per hour
Work Condition: 40 hours per week (Full-time, Permanent)
Vacation: 4% of gross salary
Work Location: 1245 Wharf Street, Victoria, BC V8W 1T9

Job Duties:
– Oversee and supervise daily front-of-house restaurant operations and ensure smooth and efficient service
– Supervise, schedule, assign, train, and support restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, runners, and bussers
– Ensure that food and service meet established quality control standards and that sanitation and safety procedures are followed in service areas
– Monitor service speed, table setup, cleanliness, and overall dining room presentation to ensure professional and efficient guest service
– Manage reservations, seating arrangements, walk-ins, and waitlists as required
– Address and resolve customer complaints, concerns, special requests, and service issues in a professional manner
– Communicate and coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure food is served accurately and efficiently
– Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:
– Minimum 2 years of experience in food preparation or customer service OR completion of a college program related to food service administration, hotel management, or restaurant management
– Completion of Secondary School
– English is required
– Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres
