Job Description

Kan Sushi is located at 800 Northwest Blvd., Creston, BC V0B 1G4. We are currently looking for permanent, full time Japanese (sushi) cooks. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail or mail.

Position: Cook
Wage: CAD$18.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evening, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: 30~ 40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay, Free meals at work, Tips

Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook Japanese sushi food items (Sashimi, Sushi, Maki, Roll, etc.) in cooperation with the rest of the staff;
• Maintain inventory and records of food;
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers;
• Train kitchen staff.

Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience required.
• Skills demonstration may be required.
