Job Description
Job duties:
General Manager – Groundwork Medical Clinic
● Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth patient flow and provider schedules.
● Coordinate scheduling, patient appointments, and medical records management using Accuro EMR.
● Establish and implement policies and procedures for delivery of health care services
● Manage health and safety procedures, including implementation and ongoing compliance.
● Lead all staffing functions including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management for a team of 5 Medical Office Assistants (MOAs).
● Conduct regular performance reviews and manage vacation requests, sick days, and daily scheduling.
● Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
● Oversee clinic finances, including managing QuickBooks, tracking physician overhead, and working closely with the accountant and bookkeepers.
● Ensure accurate payroll processing and timely payment of all invoices.
● Responsible for operational budgeting and financial planning.
● Manage the purchasing of all medical and office supplies, ensuring inventory levels meet clinic needs.
● Work within budget constraints to maintain cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
Other Qualifications:
● Over 3 years of leadership experience, preferably within a healthcare or medical clinic setting
● Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and oversee day-to-day clinical operations
● Strong knowledge of electronic medical records systems, particularly Accuro EMR
● Experience with financial management, including budgeting, payroll, and bookkeeping (QuickBooks)
● Skilled in HR functions including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
● Excellent organizational and communication skills
● Ability to develop and implement office policies and ensure regulatory compliance
● Experience managing supplier relationships and overseeing procurement of medical and office supplies

Education level: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
