Bee Hive Child Care Centre located at 334 Highway Ave, Picture Butte, AB is seeking a Child Care Worker. Rural Area. English-speaking workplace. Permanent, full-time.

Wage: $20.00/hour
Education: Level 1,2 or 3 ECE
Experience: 2-3 years working with children

Must provide the following:
-a current criminal record and a vulnerable sector check
-knowledge of Flight (Alberta ECE Curriculum)
-Alberta food handling certificate and experience cooking
-Alberta First Aid

Duties:
Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts. Maintain an environment that protects the health, security and wellbeing of children. Carry out programs that promote they physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children. Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activities. Help maintain the daycare equipment and toys. Discuss the progress and problems of the children at staff meetings. Submit written observations on childre. Assist with houskeeing. Prepare meals and snacks for the children. All other duties related to the care and safety of the children.
