Job Description

We are a busy, fast paced buffet restaurant serving a high volume of guests daily. Our team values efficiency, teamwork, and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining environment. We are looking for dependable Food Service Helpers who can keep up with the pace and support both the dining area and back of house operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Dining Area Support
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and seating areas efficiently
• Remove dishes before and after each course
• Replenish condiments, napkins, cutlery, and other supplies in serving and dining areas
• Bring clean dishes, flatware, and serving items to designated stations
• Assist with setting tables and maintaining a tidy dining environment

Back of House Assistance
• Scrape, stack, and organize dishes for dishwashing
• Carry linens to and from the laundry area
• Assist with general cleaning tasks to maintain sanitation standards
• Run errands and support kitchen or service staff as needed

Employment Requirements
• Some secondary school education is usually required
• On the job training is provided
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume restaurant environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and teamwork

• With further training and experience, movement into other food service positions—such as cook, server, or other kitchen roles—is possible

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba
Work Setting: High volume buffet restaurant
Wage: $16.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible
