Wandering Wheels is an industry-leading mountain bike guiding and coaching company based in Revelstoke, BC. We offer guided trips and tours, shuttle services, lessons, kids camps, and skills clinics.
Wage: $29-30/hour

Terms of Employment: Full-time, May to September (40 hours peer week)

Duties:
– Plan, prepare and lead multi-day kids mountain bike camps, supervising and coaching young riders.
– Lead and instruct mountain bike lessons and guided tours for individuals and groups.
– Oversee and support a team of guides to ensure safe, high-quality guest experiences.
– Transport clients to/from trailheads, shuttle drops, and tours.
– Maintain rental fleet bikes; perform routine repairs and tuning.
– Assist with shop operations: in-person customer service, walk-in rentals, and equipment prep.
– Communicate with clients pre- and post-trip; perform administrative tasks related to bookings and schedules.
Required qualifications / experience:
– PMBIA Level 2 certification (Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association).
– 80-hour Wilderness First Responder certification.
– Minimum 2 seasons of mountain bike guiding or instructing experience.
– Very strong riding skills and high fitness level.
– Experience planning and managing camps, programs, or events.
– Experience working with children in group settings.
– Mechanical experience with mountain bikes (maintenance/repairs).
– Ability to work long days in varying weather conditions.
– Valid BC Class 4 driver’s licence (or ability to obtain before employment).
Assets (preferred but not required):
– Experience coordinating logistics for backcountry or helicopter-assisted trips.
– Experience with Rezdy booking software.
– Additional guiding/instructing experience in other outdoor sports.
– Familiarity with Revelstoke trail systems (training provided).
Additional requirements:
Criminal record check and BC Driver’s Abstract required prior to employment.
