We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Food Service Supervisor to join our team. The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily food service operations, supervising staff, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. This full-time position offers hands-on experience, leadership development, and opportunities for career growth

Duties:
1. Keep track of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
2. May design cafeteria menus and assess related food and labor costs.
3. Compile food order summaries for the chef based on requests from dietitians, patients in hospitals, or other clients.
4. Oversee, organize, and schedule the tasks of personnel involved in food preparation, portioning, and serving.
5. Ensure that food quality and service adhere to established control standards.
6. May take part in hiring food service staff and help create policies, procedures, and budgets.
7. Monitor and verify the assembly of standard and specialized diet trays, along with the delivery of food carts to hospital patients.
8. Train employees on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
9. Calculate and procure the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
10. Develop work schedules and operational procedures.

Requirements:
– Completion of secondary school is usually required.
