Required skills: • Lead and supervise a crew of landscape maintenance technicians to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. • Plan and estimate the materials and labour requirements for individual contracts • Oversee the use and maintenance of landscaping equipment, ensuring that tools are used safely and properly maintained • Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units • Assist in implementing quality assurance measures to ensure that landscaping work meets or exceeds client expectations and industry standards • Address any issues or challenges that arise during landscaping operations, such as equipment malfunctions, weather-related delays, or client concerns. • Requisition supplies and materials • Maintain accurate records of work activities, including time sheets, equipment usage, and project progress reports • Hire staff and train workers in job duties and company policies • Serve as a point of contact between crew members, management, and clients. Communicate project requirements, timelines, and expectations effectively. • May provide snow removal services during winter months
