Super 8 Kelowna is looking for a Full-Time Building Maintenance Worker (NOC 73201)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.
Job Description:
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• Respond to requests from guests and other departments for maintenance and minor repairs
• Perform daily inspections on the building systems
• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• Ensure that security and safety measures are in place in the establishment
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Cut grass and tend grounds and plants
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of related hotel experience (maintenance or housekeeping)
• Language in the workplace is English
