Sun-Rype Products in Kelowna, BC, is looking for five (5) Full-Time Technical Operators (NOC 94140)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.
Job Description:
• Efficiently operate all equipment connected with the Preparation Department.
• Monitor equipment to achieve maximum throughput and yield.
• Maintain quality standards and perform other duties as required.
• Responsible for the continuous flow of juices and nectars to the packaging lines and processing of other products as required.
• Accurately measure ingredients and /or materials in the production of juices and other process.
• Record material usage, lot information and other required documentation accurately to ensure compliance with Company and/or government standards.
• Company and government standards and procedures concerning sanitation are to be followed and maintained.

Job Requirements:
• Previous experience (6 months) in operating industrial equipment.
• Successfully pass an aptitude test
• Successfully pass a physical fitness, drug & alcohol screening tests, reference, and background checks.
• Excellent communication skills
• Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
• Be able to work Monday – Friday
• Be able to work overtime and weekend shifts (periodically scheduled)
• Be available to work all 3 shifts (days, afternoon, graveyard)
• Join Teamsters Union
• Language in the workplace is English
We offer:
• $32.09 to start, to $34.09 per hour with wage increases directed as per CBA
