Job Description
Sun-Rype Products in Kelowna, BC, is looking for three (3) Full-Time NPF Packaging Operators (NOC 94140)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.
Job Description:
• Operate all equipment related to packaging food products
• Common alarm interpretation, basic troubleshooting, and cleaning of packaging equipment.
• Produce product that meets quality and food safety specifications.
• Hand stack cased product and barrel bagged product for extended periods.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Ability to work safely.
Job Requirements:
• Previous experience (6 months) in operating industrial equipment.
• Successfully pass an aptitude test
• Successfully pass a physical fitness, drug & alcohol screening tests, reference, and background checks.
• Excellent communication skills
• Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
• Be able to work Monday – Friday
• Be able to work overtime and weekend shifts (periodically scheduled)
• Be available to work all 3 shifts (days, afternoon, graveyard)
• Join Teamsters Union
• Language in the workplace is English
