Sun-Rype Products in Kelowna, BC, is looking for three (3) Full-Time Forklift Operators (NOC 75101)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.
Job Description:
• Operate forklift trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials throughout plant and warehouse manually, or with powered equipment.
• As needed, perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking.
• Undertake all duties which entail a SunRype forklift operator.
• Assist others and perform any other duties as required.
• Ability to work safely.

Job Requirements:
• Must have completed or able to complete an accredited forklift training program and meet the certification requirements
• Must have a good health record and be physically able to do the job
• Successfully pass an aptitude test
• Successfully pass a physical fitness, drug & alcohol screening tests, reference, and background checks.
• Excellent communication skills
• Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
• Be able to work Monday – Friday
• Be able to work overtime and weekend shifts (periodically scheduled)
• Be available to work all 3 shifts (days, afternoon, graveyard)
• Join Teamsters Union
• Language in the workplace is English
We offer:
• $30.63 to start, to 32.63 per hour with wage increases directed as per CBA
