Job Description

Firstchoice Haircutter is currently looking for an experienced barber to join our team.

Location: 590 Portland street Dartmouth Nova Scotia
Full-time / permanent position with $17-$19 per hour based on experience. We provide healthcare and medical benefits for our employees. It is a full-time position with 30-40 hours per week.

Tasks / Dutieis as a barber:
Advise clients on beauty care treatments
Analyze hair and scalp condition
Book appointments
Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences
Shampoo customers’ hair
Shave and trim beards and mustaches
Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
Suggest hair style compatible with client’s physical features and preferences

Required languages: English
