Job Description:
– Position: Junior Bookkeeper
– Employer: Stranaghan Enterprises Ltd. dba Riverside Resort Qualicum Beach
– Work Location: 3506 Island Hwy W, Qualicum Beach, BC V9K 2H4
– Business Address: Same as above
– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
– Wage: $25.19 per hour
– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
– Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

Job Duties:
– Check records of financial transactions and invoices using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
– Collect receipts and reconcile credit card statements.
– Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
– Support daily accounting operations, including the expenses and track related invoices and payments.
– Assist the bookkeeper from time to time with calculating and preparing cheques for payroll and for utility, tax, and other bills.

Job Requirements:
– Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
– Experience: Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field
OR
6 months to 1 year of experience as a financial or accounting clerk are required.
