Marketing Manager (Hybrid: Marketing + Café Operations)
Location: Radium Hot Springs, BC

About us
Steamboat Collective is a family run Cafe and Restaurant in Radium Hot Springs, BC. We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager who can lead our brand and community outreach while stepping into the café as a barista.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing plans across social media, email, local partnerships, and events to grow awareness and bookings.
Create and manage content (photography, short video, copy) for website and social channels.
Track and report on marketing KPIs; optimize campaigns for engagement and conversion.
Coordinate local partnerships, community outreach, and seasonal promotions.
Manage basic website updates, listings, and online reputation (reviews).
During slower shoulder-season periods, run café shifts: prepare drinks, serve customers, manage point-of-sale, maintain cleanliness, and support basic inventory and cash handling.
Assist with small events and on-site guest relations as needed.
Ensure brand standards and excellent customer service across all touchpoints.
Minimum qualifications
Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Minimum 2 years barista experience (must be able to prepare a range of espresso and milk-based drinks quickly and consistently).
2+ years marketing experience (agency, hospitality, tourism, or small business preferred).
2 + years of Barista experience using a manual machine (steaming milk without automation).
Strong written and visual communication skills; experience creating social content and basic photography/videography.
Comfortable with website content management and basic analytics (Google Analytics/insights).
Ability to work independently in a small-team environment; flexible and customer-focused.
Desired skills
Familiarity with local tourism and hospitality markets.
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Spark) and short-form video editing.
Experience running small events or activation logistics.
Other details
Schedule will include regular marketing hours plus café shifts during shoulder season; some weekend availability required.
Must provide your own accommodation in Radium Hot Springs.
Compensation: competitive (commensurate with experience) — include salary expectations in application.
