Job Duties:
Prepare wide variety of authentic Indian dishes
Follow the established recipes and preparation methods to ensure consistency, quality and adherence to company standards
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and portion control
Assist in developing new, innovative dishes and specials
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and food-handling regulations.
Safely operate and handle all kitchen equipment, tools, and appliances according to proper procedures.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels; record usage of food items, check deliveries, and report shortages or discrepancies as needed.
Employment Requirements/work experience:
At least 1-2 years work experience in commercial kitchen
experience with ethnic Indian food an asset
