Job Description:
• 1 Vacancy
• Job type: Permanent, Full-time
• 35 hours/week
• Salary: $ 37 / hour
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Work location: Unit#2-3, 259 Traders Blvd E, Mississauga, ON L4Z 2E5
• Benefit: 4% vacation pay
Vacation of 2 weeks per year

Job Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain and service gas heating units and their components, such as furnaces, burners, valves and automatic controls
• Install and test gas piping systems and fittings in compliance with Ontario Gas Code
• Test and replace defective equipment or components
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete necessary repairs
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Test for gas leaks and ensure all safety protocols are followed
• Calibrate controls, thermostats, and safety devices
• Maintain accurate service records and job reports
• Provide professional customer service and explain system operation to clients
• Respond to emergency service calls as required
• Work collaboratively with project managers and technicians

Job requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: a related college program or related trades certification training is required
• Work Experience: at least 1 year of related work experience
• Certificate: as fitter trade certification or a provincial gas fitter license is required
• Ability to Supervise: 1 to 2people
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
o Physically demanding work requiring standing, bending, kneeling, and crouching
o Ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy loads (up to 50 lbs)
o Work in confined spaces, mechanical rooms, basements, and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions
o Ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or elevated platforms
o Attention to detail
