Skinny Duke’s is looking for five (5) Full-Time Cooks (NOC 63200) to join our team! This is a full-time, permanent position with minimum 30 hours per week, $19.00 to $21.00/hour plus tips and benefits.
Job Description:
• Prepare, cook, and present meals
• Prep food during the day to prepare for evening service
• Prepare and cook specialty dishes
• Keep working stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours
• Work in all stations in the kitchen as assigned during busy times
• Work under time pressure while making sure quality, safety and sanitation standards are followed
• Assist with monitoring and ordering of supplies
• Work under direction of Executive Chef
• Clean kitchen and work areas throughout the day and at the end of shift
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of commercial cooking experience
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must be able to lift heavy objects, work near hot ovens and grills, and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be available to work mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays
• Must be reliable and responsible
• Must be able to do repetitive tasks
• Must be able to read and write English
