Your attention to detail and electrical expertise will play a pivotal role in powering our projects forward.

Responsibilities:

– Perform load calculation based on equipment list provided.
– Prepare Power layout plan, Lighting plan (includes lighting schedule), panel schedule, life safety plan (Fire alarm design).
– Prepare technical reports.
– Estimate costs and materials.
– Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
– Examine drawings for conformity and errors
– Review and confirm that design drawings adhere to specifications and design data.
– Utilize computer software to generate Building Information Models (BIM) that digitally depict both the physical and functional attributes of buildings and various engineering projects.

Requirements:

– Completion of a one- to two-year college program in drafting or completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program or four to five years of related experience plus completion of college or industry courses in drafting are usually required for drafting technicians.

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time, 40 hours a week.
