Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: Completion of a college/university program in accounting.
Experience: 5+ years experience, supervisory experience an asset.
Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Long periods of computer work. Combination of standing, walking, sitting for extended periods. Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, attention to detail.
Work Location Information: Relocation costs not covered by employer.

Required languages: English
Education level: Completion of a college/university program in accounting and/or equivalent experience.
Required skills: Plan, develop, and oversee all the accounting functions of the company. Examine and verify accuracy of work, and authorize routine payments, credits, and other transactions. Set up EFT for recurring payments in the system as per Pre-Authorized Debit agreements, and ensuring reports are done accurately and per agreements. Liaise with Auditors to accomplish audits and resolve any work-related problems and submit progress reports, as required. Administer accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, annual common area cost reconciliations, filing monthly and quarterly GST returns, and recording overall company revenue.
Additional skills / Assets: Identify training needs and train workers in accordance with job duties, company policies and processes. Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinating with various departments and work units.
