Roc City Drywall is looking for three (3) Full-Time Plasterers (NOC 73102)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $30.00/hour, with benefits.
Job Description:
• Install insulation materials in walls and ceilings as part of thermal and soundproofing systems
• Construct steel stud framing for interior partition walls and ceilings
• Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency in troughs
• Apply texture coatings (e.g., knockdown, orange peel) on walls and ceilings for aesthetic or functional purposes
• Install suspended ceiling systems, including T-bar grid ceilings
• Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster using trowels, floats, brushes, and spraying equipment
• Trowel or spray stucco on exterior walls to form durable, weather-resistant finishes
• Clean and prepare surfaces prior to plaster or drywall application
• Finish corners, angles, and decorative surfaces as required
• Cure freshly plastered surfaces to prevent cracking and ensure durability
• Mold and install ornamental plaster features such as cornices, panels, and trim
• Spray acoustic materials or textured finishes on walls and ceilings
• Install drywall sheets (boarding) on walls and ceilings
• Tape and finish drywall joints using joint compound and taping tools
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years of related work experience
• Must be knowledgeable in any or a few of the following: framing, insulation, boarding, taping, texture, t bar
• Language in the workplace is English
We offer:
• $30.00 per hour, plus piecework pay per square foot completed
• Mileage pay for any work outside of Kelowna area

Various work sites primarily in the Kelowna, BC area. Office located at 3511 Lakeshore Road Kelowna BC, V1W 3K1.
