ROAD TRAIN EXPRESS INC. is looking for 2 positions of LONG-HAUL TRUCK DRIVERS for their location at 85 Heart Lake Road S, Brampton, ON, L6W 3K1
Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

On Site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities:
Tasks:
Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations.
Load and unload goods.
Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport cargo on international routes.
Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
Perform brake adjustments.
Perform emergency roadside repairs.
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.

Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer A train
