Job Title: Head Pastry Chef
Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee daily pastry production operations.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate pastry production schedules.
• Prepare and decorate cakes, pastries, breads, and specialty desserts.
• Develop new recipes, seasonal menu items, and product offerings.
• Supervise, train, and mentor pastry staff.
• Ensure consistency, quality control, and compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize food waste.
• Control food costs and maintain production efficiency.
• Coordinate daily kitchen activities and workflow.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with management on menu planning and business operations.
Terms of Employment : Permanent, Full-time
Wages : $37.00 hourly for 30 hours per week.
Benefits : 4% days of paid vacation.
Qualifications
• Completion of secondary school.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in pastry production, including supervisory experience.
• Language: Speak English, Read English, Write English
