Job Description

We are a professional family living in Mississauga, and we are looking for a full time Nanny to help care for our 10 month old baby boy. I am a Family Doctor, and my husband travels frequently for work, so we need someone reliable, caring, and experienced who can support us with day to day childcare.

We are looking for someone who can provide consistent, attentive, and loving care for our infant. Because my work schedule changes, we need someone who is flexible with hours and able to adjust as needed.

Your Responsibilities
• Provide full time care for our 10 month old son
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
• Change diapers and assist with bathing, dressing, and daily hygiene
• Follow our established feeding and nap routines
• Engage him in age appropriate play, learning, and developmental activities
• Monitor his health, behaviour, and emotional well being
• Keep his play area, bedroom, and belongings organized
• Perform light housekeeping related to the child (laundry, bottles, tidying toys)
• Communicate with us regularly about routines, progress, and any concerns

Requirements
• Must have experience in childcare, specifically with infants
• Completion of secondary school
• Training in childcare or caregiving is an asset
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Warm, patient, and attentive personality
• Knowledge of infant development and safety
• CPR/First Aid certification is an asset
• Comfortable working in a private home
• Must be flexible with hours, as my schedule may change

Position: Nanny
Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Wage: $20.85 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, full time, permanent

Education level: Completion of secondary school is usually required.

Required skills: Strong understanding of infant development, safety, and age‑appropriate care; Ability to create a nurturing, calm, and structured environment; Strong time‑management and ability to follow daily schedules

Additional skills / Assets: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; Reliable, patient, and attentive personality; Strong organization skills for maintaining the child’s belongings and play areas; Ability to adapt to changing schedules, as my work hours may vary
