Job Description

Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities
Perform other duties related to personal care
Supply and empty bed pans
Take patients’ blood pressure, temperature and pulse
Serve meal trays and feed patients
Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
Make beds and maintain patients’ rooms
Bathe, dress and groom patients
Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
Answer call signals to determine patients’ needs

Required languages: English

Education level: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Required skills: Compassionate and empathetic approach to caregiving;Strong communication skills (verbal and written) ;Physical stamina and strength;Teamwork and reliability

Additional skills / Assets: Completion of a Nursing Aide or Personal Support Worker Certificate program is required OR willing to complete employer-approved training upon hire.
