Omineca Diamond Drilling Ltd is looking for twenty (20) Full-Time Diamond Driller Helpers – Surface Mining (NOC 75110)! This is a full-time, seasonal position. Our season is June to October.
Job Description:
• Folllow the Driller’s direction to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Manually handle heavy drills rods (50-80 lbs) multiple times per shift.
• Present clean and properly marked core to the geologists.
• Keep the work area safe, clean and free of hazards.
• Maintain and organize equipment, supplies and tooling for the drill rig and other drill related equipment.
• Assist in the setup operation and tear of the drill rigs and all related equipment.
• Assist with the maintenance and minor repairs of the drills and all related equipment.
• Assist the driller and other team members where required.
Job Requirements:
• Previous experience is an asset.
• The schedule is 4 weeks in camp, 2 weeks out. 84 hours per week (12-hour days, 7 days per week).
• Language in the workplace is English
We offer:
• $28.50 to $35.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Overtime pay after working 40 hours per week
