Original Joe’s is seeking an experienced and engaged General Manager to lead our restaurant team and uphold the high standards our guests expect. This role is essential in maintaining our welcoming atmosphere, driving operational excellence, and strengthening our culture at one of our city of Edmonton locations.

Terms of Employment
• Permanent position – Full-time,
• Morning, day, evening, nights, and weekends,
• Wage: $42.38 – $44.38/hour for 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities
• Oversee all daily restaurant operations to ensure consistent food quality and exceptional guest service.
• Lead, coach, and inspire the team to achieve performance and hospitality goals.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, ongoing training, and performance development.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, health, and workplace regulations.
• Address guest concerns and inquiries with a solutions-focused approach.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable work environment aligned with OJ’s values.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers to maintain quality and reliability.

Qualifications
• Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Solid understanding of food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage budgets and interpret financial reports.
• Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is an asset.
• A guest-focused approach with effective problem-solving skills.
• Minimum of Four (4) years of previous experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant environment is highly desirable.
