Job Summary:

North River Outfitting is a small, family-run outfitting business. Their guide territory is approximately 300km north of Smithers, BC near the Yukon border (Cassier Mountains). This location is fly-in only.

The Camp Manager is responsible for the overall operation, administration, and supervision of camp facilities, staff, and services. This includes ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient environment for camp residents and personnel, maintaining high standards of hospitality, and complying with all regulatory and safety guidelines. The Camp Manager works closely with clients, staff, and suppliers to ensure smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
· Developing and implementing policies and procedures for the operation of the business
· Participating in the development of pricing and promotional strategies
· Registering clients on arrival
· Overseeing clients
· Manage camp staff: hiring, scheduling, supervising and training staff
· Managing the main camp
· Assisting European clients

Qualifications:
Completion of secondary school is required
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Proficiency with inventory and scheduling systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in remote locations and in varying weather conditions
