Job Description

Norseman Truss Ltd is looking to fill a permanent FT Wood Truss Assembler for its Air Ronge SK location to assemble trusses and assist the company with various aspects of production. Although experience is preferred, employer is willing to train the right individuals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Truss Assembly and Construction: Assemble trusses based as per specifications and blueprints
Equipment Operation: Operate machinery and tools necessary for truss building, including saws,
presses, portable power tools, pneumatic air equipment and hydraulic equipment. Must be able to lift heavy objects, driver’s license an asset and must be willing to obtain driver’s license.
Material Handling: Load and unload materials and organize them for efficient assembly.
Team Collaboration: work closely with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Criminal record check and drug test are required. 8 hour per day work. Rate of pay is $21.00/hours and any hours in excess of 40 hours per week shall be paid at a rate of 1.5 times the regular rate. Bi-weekly pay period with vacation pay included in each pay period.
