Morrow’s Moving & Storage is looking for a Full-Time Moving Van Driver (NOC 73300)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week, $29.00/hour, with benefits.
Job Description:
• Operate moving vans and light/medium trucks to transport household, office, and commercial goods safely and efficiently
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations
• Plan and follow delivery routes, schedules, and customer instructions
• Secure furniture, equipment, and other cargo using straps, blankets, dollies, and protective materials to prevent damage during transport
• Assist with loading and unloading of items when required, including lifting, carrying, and positioning goods at pickup and delivery locations
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding schedules, deliveries, and service updates
• Complete delivery documentation, inspection reports, logbooks, and bills of lading accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle and report maintenance or mechanical issues promptly
• Follow company safety procedures and comply with all traffic laws, transportation regulations, and workplace safety standards
• Provide courteous customer service during residential and commercial moving operations
• Verify inventory and ensure transported items match shipping or moving documentation
• Assist in assembling, disassembling, or placing furniture and equipment at customer locations when required
Job Requirements:
• Must be physically able to lift at least 40 lbs
• Must have at least Class 5 driver’s licence
• Language in the workplace is English
