Job Description

Mook Thai Lounge is looking for a Full-Time Head Cook (NOC 63200)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week, $28.00 to $28.85/hour.
Job Description:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Supervise and train kitchen helpers
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• As needed, clean kitchen and work area
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year as Cook or related
• Post secondary training in culinary arts, or related experience
• Previous experience working at a Thai or Asian restaurant is an asset
• Language in the workplace is English
