Miki’s Breakfast & Sushi is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join the team.

Position: Restaurant Manager (Permanent)
Employer: Mikischoice Enterprises Ltd. o/a Miki’s Breakfast & Sushi
Working Address: 1319 Shoppers Row, Campbell River, BC, V9W 2C9, Canada
Wage: $37.00/hr (Overtime pay to be paid at 1.5 regular wage after 8 hrs/day and after 40 hrs/week.
Working Hours: 30 hours/wk (full-time)
Benefits: 10 days paid vacation or 4 % vacation fee

Job Duties but not limited to the following:
– Plan, coordinate, and organize day-to-day operations and assess daily restaurant operations
– Adjust food preparation methods and menu pricing in line with budget requirements
– Track revenues to assess and manage labour costs and calculate and control the cost of products and services
– Recruit and hire staff and oversee and evaluate staff performance
– Create and manage staff work schedules and supervise staff during all shifts
– Determine the types of services offered and implement operational procedures
– Conduct regular performance evaluations
– Contribute to marketing planning and execution
– Handle and resolve customer complaints or concerns

Qualification:
– Completion of secondary school is required.
– Completion of a college/CEGEP or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management or equivalent experience required.
– 1-2 years of experience is required.
– Ability to communicate in English is required.
