Salary: $18.00 hourly for 35 hours per week

Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
– 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience as a cook is required;
– Work experience in cooking Japanese cuisine is an asset.

Job duties:
– Prepare, make and present Nigiri Sushi and Sushi Rolls;
– Prepare, cook, and present Japanese dishes such as Deep-fried Chicken, Gyoza and Miso Soup;
– Maintain inventory and records of foods, ingredients, supplies and equipment;
– Place orders for foods, ingredients and supplies as necessary;
– Plan menus, determine size of food portions and presentation of food, and estimate food requirements;
– Clean, organize and inspect kitchen and work areas;
– Schedule staff as necessary
