Job Description

Mainline Living Property Management is looking for a Full-Time Community Director (NOC 13101)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.
Job Description:
• Promote resident satisfaction through the timely resolution of complaints, ongoing communi-cation, and by maintaining the property in a clean, safe, and orderly state of repair.
• Manage the resident experience end-to-end for the assigned community including overall build-ing maintenance, repair, showings, move in/outs’, inspections, resident relations, and admin-istration/ all relevant resident documents.
• Enforce and ensure adherence to the Ontario Residential Tenancies Act
• Prepare vacant suites for new residents by completing necessary repairs, upgrades and/or clean-ing.
• Coordinate work activities and services from vendors and other contractors as needed by re-searching and identifying needs, supervising contractors, and ensuring open communication be-tween contractors, and project team members.
• Ensure that the appearance and physical aspects of the building(s) meet Mainline Living stand-ards and owner established standards through performing general repairs, cleaning, and main-taining all common areas, maintaining grounds, and performing routine site and safety inspec-tions, and communicating concerns and requests to the Property Manager.
• Complete various administrative tasks and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.
• Attend to the collection and safe deposit of all rent monies and other receivables from the ten-ants.
Qualifications & Abilities:
• Minimum 2 years of administrative experience as a property clerk, contract clerk, or administra-tive officer (or related).
• Good working relationship and knowledge of residential property management.
• Working knowledge of New YARDI or ERP software
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Budgeting acumen
• Background in supervising personnel and directing projects
• Strong experience with marketing principles and practices
• Highly organized and able to quickly pivot between varied responsibilities for this position
• Language in the workplace is English
Other Requirements:
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Completion of a criminal record check satisfactory to the employer is required.
• Local travel for meetings and business requirements; some occasional travel to other locations for training and business.
• Ability to work flexible hours and a willingness to work evenings and weekends for emergency calls.
