We are looking to hire 2 permanent full-time construction helpers in Kelowna as soon as possible.
Job Duties include:
• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks and barricades.
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Employment Requirements:
• Ideal candidates should be reliable, team player and flexible.
• The incumbents should be capable of handling heavy loads (up to 50lbs), be able to perform repetitive tasks, fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• The candidate may be required to work at heights, outdoors, underground, in confined spaces and in dusty places.
Education: No formal education/ degree diploma is required.
Language: English
Experience: Experience would be an asset.
The candidate should have his own steel toed safety boots and hard hat.
Terms of Employment:
The candidates are expected to be available for work for morning and daytime shifts. These are full-time (40 hours per week) and permanent positions with a salary of $26.00/Hour.
