Laing Roofing is looking for 5 Full-Time Architectural Sheet Metal Workers (NOC 72102)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $32.00-40.00/hour, with benefits after 3 months of working.

Job Description

Tasks:
– Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
– Measure and mark sheet metal according to template
– Supervise other workers
– Cut materials using power tools or by hand
– Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment
– Fit and join sheet metal parts
– Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
– Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
– Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
– Install sheet metal flashings
– Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms

Job Requirements:
– Minimum 3 years of architectural sheet metal experience
– Minimum completion of high school or equivalent
– Language in the workplace is English
– Credentials: Fall Protection Training and WHMIS Certificate
