• Read and comprehend welding process specifications or designs.
• Make use of hand-held or automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• Use brakes, shears, and other metal-shaping equipment to bend and straighten metal.
• Manage manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to join metal pieces together using techniques.
• Taking care of defective metal product components which can be fixed by weld¬ on additional layers.
