DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
• Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
• Evaluate daily operations
• Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
• Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Recruit, train, supervise staff. Monitor staff performance
• Set staff work schedules
• Determine type of services to be ordered and implement operational procedures
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
• Conduct performance reviews
• Cost products and services
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation
• Provide customer service. Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Manage events
Start date: October 1, 2025
Job type: Permanent, full time position. Supervise 5-10 people.
Salary: 36/hour

Required languages: English

Education level: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years

Required skills: Industry experience: At least 2 years Computer and technology knowledge - MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, Point of sale system
