Job Title: Carpenter

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Hours of work: 30 – 40 hours per week
Wage: $35.00 per hour
Number of Position: 2
Benefits: 10 days of paid vacation or 4% of gross salary for vacation remuneration.

Job Duties:

– Prepare the layout of the project.
– Estimate height, width, length, and other proportions: Select materials
– Work with materials such as wood, plastic, fibreglass, or drywall; Join materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.
– Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure.
– Build stairs, mantles, and furniture; Install cabinets and molding.
– Repair or build furniture.
– Install partitions, doors, and windows.

Job Requirements:

– Experience: 2~3 years of relevant experience OR Completion of a three-to four-year apprenticeship program.

– Education: Completion of High School
