Work Experience: Minimum 9 months with an infant in a home setting

Duties/Responsibilities:
Providing attentive care to a 9-month infant in a home setting and ensuring the
safety and health of the infant
Maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic environment and ensuring the
child’s room, playroom, and other areas are organized and tidy
Assisting the child with daily needs such as dressing, feeding, bathing, and
changing diapers
Helping parents with some daily chores, such as cleaning, organizing, and
shopping
Planning and preparing nutritious meals for the child
Serving and feeding the child with prepared food
Accompanying a child to playgrounds and other facilities, such as hospitals, as
necessary, and ensuring the child’s well-being
Planning and organizing educational play and activities that are appropriate for
the child
Performing household duties in the absence of the parents
Educating the child through play and activities to develop social skills
Creating a stimulating environment where the child can play and learn safely
Keeping records of daily activities and health information about the infant
Communicating with parents effectively regarding meal plans, the child’s
behaviour and daily activities

Candidates who are legally authorized to work are considered for the position. Priorities are given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.

Required languages: English

Education level: High school graduation certificate. Related education (early childhood educator is preferred)

Experienced with children aged: 9 months - 1 year

Required skills: Driver’s license, First Aid, CPR/AED, Nutrition certificate(preferred)
