Job Description:
– Supervise and care for children in the employer’s residence, ensuring their safety
– and well-being.
– Prepare and serve nutritious after-school snacks and meals
– Support children’s emotional well-being and social development.
– Assist with homework and support learning activities
– Plan and organize age-appropriate activities
– Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment
– Follow parents’ instructions regarding discipline and daily routines
– Transport child to and from playdates and extracurricular activities
– Perform light housekeeping related to childcare

Education and Skills Requirements:
– Secondary (high school) graduation certificate
– 1 -2 years of experience in childcare or a related caregiving role is required
– Formal training in childcare or early childhood education is considered an asset
– First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
– References required
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Reliable, patient, and responsible

Wage: $20-$21/Hour
Work Hours: Full Time, 30-40 hours per week
