J N Drywall Ltd. located in Abbotsford, BC is currently hiring 2 full-time Drywall Installer for their growing team.

Position Details:
Position: Drywall Installer

Salary: $36.60 per hour
Start date: As soon as possible
Work locations: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, and Fraser Valley and/or as per company contracts.
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding

Job duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
• Finish surfaces of woodwork in houses and buildings, using hand tools and paneling.
• Work on new projects remodels, or additions to existing wooden structures.
• Build foundations, install floor beams and subflooring, build walls, and install partitions.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
• Supervise other construction workers.

Job requirements:
• Completion of Secondary School
• Completion of a 3-4 years apprenticeship program in a relevant trade or a Minimum of 3 years of experience in the trade is required.
• Ability to communicate in English

Note:
• Financial assistance for relocation from other provinces or regions will be provided up to $1000.00 for qualified candidates.
• If any of the current employee of JN Drywall Ltd. makes a referral that results in to hire, the company will pay $500 referral to that employee.
