Salary: $20.00 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay (Overtime as per BC Labor laws)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Child Caregiver to provide care for our children in a private household setting in Surrey, BC. The caregiver will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and well-being of the children in a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and care for the children in employer’s residence
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Instruct child in personal hygiene
• Tend to the emotional well-being of the children
• Organize activities such as games, crafts, outings to provide amusement and exercise
• Keep records of daily activities and health information
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to the children
• Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the parent
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision
• Take children to and from school and appointments

Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Relevant experience (Some childcare or household management experience) an asset. Training will be provided
Language: English (spoken and written proficiency required)
Other:
• Must be flexible with work hours, reliable, and able to work independently
• CPR and First Aid certification is an asset
